Privacy policy

DayDayLog is a diary app for iPhone and Android. The developer of DayDayLog wrote this policy. There is no separate service to sign up for.
This policy describes the iOS and Android apps distributed through the stores. A browser preview used during development is not that product, and this policy does not describe it.
DayDayLog does not collect data. There is no tracking, no account, and no DayDayLog server.
The diary text is stored in a database on the phone. Cover photos are stored as files in the app, resized so a day’s picture stays small. Language and theme stay on the device. The app does not upload the journal.
Photos
The photo library is used only when you choose a picture. That photo becomes the day’s cover and stays on this device. It is not sent to the developer. It is not used to identify you, and it is not used for tracking. The app does not ask for the camera or the microphone.
Sharing and backup
Sharing is optional and uses the system share sheet. You can send a picture of the current screen, or a photo you pick. The sheet delivers that image to an app you choose. DayDayLog does not run that destination, and that share does not upload the diary to DayDayLog.
You can export a backup. JSON includes the diary text and the photo data. A zip includes daydaylog.json and the photo files. The file goes where you send it. Import reads a file you choose and writes it into the diary on this phone. DayDayLog does not receive either file.
Lock and reminders
You can set a PIN. On a phone that has it, you can also use Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint to unlock the diary. The operating system keeps the biometric data. DayDayLog only learns whether the unlock succeeded. The PIN is checked on the device. The PIN itself is not written into the diary text.
A daily reminder is optional. It is a local notification scheduled on the phone. There is no push server and no account token.
Sample pages
The first launch writes a few sample pages into the diary so the calendar is not empty. Those pages stay on the device. The developer does not receive them. You can replace them.
Phone backups
DayDayLog does not operate a cloud account for the diary. If you turn on a phone backup in iOS or Android, the operating system runs that backup, not a DayDayLog account. This policy does not switch that backup off.
Ads and diagnostics
The app does not show ads and does not use an advertising identifier. The project does not include an analytics SDK or a crash-reporting SDK. Apple and Google may collect diagnostics about the store and the phone under their own policies. DayDayLog does not add a diagnostics SDK to the diary.
Children
DayDayLog is not directed at children under 13. The app does not collect personal information.
Deletion
There is no server copy to ask for. Delete an entry in the app, or delete the app from the phone, and the diary on that phone goes with it. A backup file you already exported is yours to delete.
Changes
The date of this text is 21 October 2026. When the product changes in a way that affects this policy, the date will change with the text.

相片

你可以匯出備份。JSON 包含日記文字和相片資料。Zip 包含 daydaylog.json 和相片檔。檔案會去到你送往的地方。匯入會讀取你選的檔案，並寫進這部手機上的日記。DayDayLog 不會收到這些檔案。
鎖與提醒
你可以設定密碼。手機有 Face ID、Touch ID 或指紋時，也可以用它解鎖日記。生物識別資料由作業系統保存。DayDayLog 只知道解鎖是否成功。密碼在裝置上核對。密碼本身不會寫進日記文字。
每日提醒可選。它是排程在手機上的本地通知。沒有推送伺服器，也沒有帳號權杖。
範例頁
第一次打開會把幾頁範例寫進日記，日曆就不會是空的。這些頁留在裝置上。開發者不會收到它們。你可以改寫。
手機備份
DayDayLog 不為日記經營雲端帳號。如果你在 iOS 或 Android 開啟手機備份，該備份由作業系統執行，不是由 DayDayLog 帳號執行。這份政策不會關掉該備份。
廣告與診斷
App 不顯示廣告，也不使用廣告識別碼。這個專案沒有分析 SDK，也沒有崩潰報告 SDK。Apple 與 Google 可能按它們自己的政策收集商店和手機的診斷資料。DayDayLog 不會為日記加入診斷 SDK。
兒童
DayDayLog 不是為 13 歲以下兒童而設。App 不會收集個人資料。
刪除
沒有伺服器副本可以索取。在 App 內刪除一篇日記，或從手機刪除 App，這部手機上的日記會一併消失。你已經匯出的備份檔，由你自己刪除。
變更
這份文字的日期是 2026年10月21日。如果產品的改變影響這份政策，日期會與文字一起更新。
